Southwark News’ Herbie Russell and Kit Heren visited the Ledbury after the council got planning permission to knock down the 1960s estate.
The estate has been unsafe for years, with cracks forming in the tower blocks. Nearly 90 per cent of residents voted to knock down and rebuild the blocks. But people living and working on the estate say they will miss their home.
