A man was taken to hospital after a ‘collision’ took place on the New Kent Road yesterday (Monday, January 5) involving two vehicles at around 5pm.
Ambulance crews raced to New Kent Road followed by firefighters, who made the scene safe following the collision near Elephant and Castle.
The Fire Brigade was called at 5:20 pm. One fire engine and a Fire Rescue Unit from Old Kent Road and Euston fire stations attended the scene.
No one was arrested according to the Met Police.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.45pm on Monday 5 January to reports of a road traffic collision on New Kent Road, SE1.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the crew and treated a patient before taking them to hospital.”
