Firefighters raced to Denmark Hill yesterday to tackle a blaze which left a flat inside a four-storey building partially destroyed (Tuesday, 10 Feb),
The blaze left part of a second-floor flat in a four-storey block partially destroyed.
Four fire engines and 25 firefighters responded to the fire.
The Brigade was first called at 12:59, and crews from Brixton, Peckham and Soho fire stations are at the scene. Firefighters had the incident under control by 13:30.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
