A police investigation has been launched following reports of ‘gunshots’ in Peckham on Saturday afternoon (14 February).
Officers were called to Copeland Road, in Peckham Rye, just after 3 pm on Saturday following ‘reports of gunshots’.
No injuries were reported and police believe those involved fled the scene before officers arrived.

Residents have been told to expect an ‘increased police presence’ while the Met conducts early enquiries.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers responded to reports of gunshots in Copland Road, SE15 at around 15:10hrs on Saturday, 14 February.
“No injuries were reported at the scene as those involved are believed to have fled before officers arrived.
“A crime scene remains in place while early enquiries are conducted and local residents can expect to see an increased police presence.
