Live stand-up debuts are coming to Crystal Palace with top UK talent and local flair, writes Jessica Khan…

Antenna Studios is set to launch its first-ever Comedy Night on Friday 7th November. The new event promises sharp sets, cheap drinks, and a spotlight on South London creatives.

Hosted by Eli James, who is a South Londoner by way of the U.S. and Gossip Girl, the night features a strong line-up including award-winning comic Phil Green, known for his BBC Radio 4 appearances and four-star Edinburgh Fringe shows.

An improv comedy school has found a home in Southwark after ’11 years of heartbreak’ searching for a venue

Headlining the show is Alan Francis, a veteran of Psychoville, Alan Partridge, and Big Impression, known for his sharp and dark humour.

Francis is a former winner of Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny and has also appeared with Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre of Scotland.

Antenna Studios, located on Haynes Lane, is a long-standing arts hub known for music, performance, and community events.
