Children in Greenwich who are aged 4 to 16 and eligible for free school meals can gain a free place on four Christmas ‘food and fun’ sessions throughout the school holidays.
At thirty-two different locations across Greenwich, children can take part in activity sessions, offering everything from sports and outdoor activities to creative workshops and cooking.
The full list of participating centres is available on the Greenwich Council website.
Each centre will run their own programme of events, with most centres offering sessions from 22 – 30 December.
There are also lots of spaces available for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

The council will also be running their free holiday meals programme, providing lunch for all children at libraries across the borough, to ensure no child goes hungry over Christmas.
Councillor Adel Khaireh, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People said: “Holiday Food and Fun makes the Christmas break a much easier and more enjoyable time for families.
“Whether children want to burn off some energy at a local sports club or get creative at an arts and crafts session, there’s something for everyone. I encourage parents to check the list of participating clubs on our website and book early as places always fill up fast.”
