Partou Rosendale Day Nursery and Pre-school in Dulwich has been rated ‘Good’ in all areas following an Ofsted Inspection, writes Lilian Mulholland…

The nursery and pre-school, run by Partou, one of the UK’s largest day nursery providers, has provided childcare to families in All Saints Church since 2006.

The site consists of playrooms full of educational resources and an all-year round outdoor space.

An Ofsted inspector described children as “settled, confident, and content at this welcoming and inclusive nursery”.

She added: “Parents speak very positively about the nursery. They feel staff have gone ‘above and beyond’ to support their children’s progress.”

The inspector also praised the nursery’s support for children with disabilities and special educational needs.

The report read: “Staff work closely with parents and make timely referrals to ensure that children receive the specialist support they need.”

Nursery manager, Jonelle Jacob, said: “The children’s personal development will always be our top priority as they set out on their learning journey.  We are committed to providing the best possible care for them.”

Ofsted commended nursery staff for providing “a challenging curriculum that supports children to make good progress in their developments from their starting points. Children beam with pride when staff tell them they are proud of them.”
