This half term Peckham Levels is offering people the opportunity to “unleash their inner artist.”
The events venue on Rye Lane is hosting arts and crafts workshops with artist Alexandra Ramirez across the Easter half term.
Artist, designer & animator Alexandra Ramirez will hold a range of activities, from Bauhaus poster making to comic and zine workshops.
They aimed primarily at kids and teenagers, with tickets starting from £15.
The first interactive workshop, kicking off on 7 April, is a two-hour Bauhaus poster making for kids, aimed at those between 7-10.
Attendees can learn how to experiment with blocks of colour, shapes and typography (designing and arranging letters), taking inspiration from the early 20th century German Bauhaus art movement.
The goal is to “unlock creativity and strategic thinking in a playful manner.”
Teenagers who want to try their hand at Bauhaus poster making can book a place on the teens’ workshop 14 April.
There will also be a comic and zine-making workshop for kids, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on 23 Saturday.

Participants at the workshop can come up with short stories and create mini graphic novels, which will then be folded into a zine.
Designed for 7-10 years olds, the workshop consists of a 2-hour drawing session with 15 mins breaks, followed by a mini-exhibition at the end for everyone to show off their handy work.
Teens can take part in the same workshop on 30th April from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Each class will be hosted by Alexandra Ramirez, a visual artist working in illustration, printmaking, design and animation.
Her distinctive style employs vibrant colours and dynamic lines and shapes, mixing traditional and digital media exploring new techniques & textures.
She has worked with various brands and magazines, creating bespoke illustrations and design focusing on sports, fashion, and music.
Tickets for the Bauhaus postering making workshops for kids and teens cost £15.00, including all materials, while the comic and zine-making sessions cost £16.76.
