MILLWALL have triggered a one-year extension to keep Casper De Norre at the club until the summer of 2027, NewsAtDen understands.
The 29-year-old Belgian’s contract was due to expire in the summer, but the club has exercised an option in his deal to retain him under the same terms for another year.
The club had to make a decision on his option by March 31.
De Norre had previously expressed a desire to stay at the club long-term.
The influential midfielder has made 26 appearances this season, scoring once and assisting four.
De Norre made the most outfield appearances in the squad last season, appearing in all 46 of the Lions’ league games.
He signed for Millwall from Belgian side OH Leuven in the summer of 2023. He previously had stints at Sint-Truiden, ASV Geel and Genk.
