Several road closures are planned for the London Borough of Lambeth throughout January and February 2026 while essential works are carried out.
Drivers should be aware of planned road closures in the following locations: Brixton, Herne Hill, Clapham, West Norwood, Norwood, Tulse Hill and Streatham.
Most of the closures are expected to last for a day or two, but Landsdowne Hill in Tulse Hill will be closed for almost three weeks while Southern Gas Networks (SGN) carries out works.
Tremadoc Road in Clapham will close for three days while Openreach carries out works, while Harpenden Road in Tulse Hill will close for a few hours on the evening of January 28.
Other affected roads include Norwood Road in Herne Hill and Ferndale Road in Brixton, which will be closed for a few days in both January and February while Network Rail carries out works.
The Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) has compiled a list of all of the upcoming road closures using one.network, which provides real-time updates on road closures, roadworks and diversion routes.
Residents should plan their routes in advance to avoid facing any major travel disruption.
