West End producer David Hutchinson, who has produced hits such as Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 The Musical and American Idiot, will co-chair the Greenwich Creative Network alongside luxury décor brand CEO Feliciana Dalley, writes Pablo Munoz…
The creative network supports the borough’s Culture Strategy and is co-funded by Arts Council England. It’s objective is to make Greenwich a hub where creativity, innovation and cultural connections can flourish by 2030.
Hutchinson is originally from Scotland, and his first theatre productions in London took place in Greenwich, where he founded Selladoor Worldwide, now a prominent theatre production company. He said: “I’m really excited to be appointed co-chair of the Greenwich Creative Network alongside Feliciana. Having lived here for over a decade, I’ve seen first-hand the depth of talent and ambition that exists across our creative community. The potential here is huge.”
Feliciana Dalley is a proud Ravensbourne alumnus, a university based in Greenwich, and says she has been shaped by the area. She said: “Greenwich shaped me, so giving back feels deeply personal. My mission is to drive, champion and pour back into up-and-coming talent, especially while representing the underrepresented within the creative industries.”
Hutchinson added: “I very much intend to amplify and champion the voices, practitioners and companies that make Greenwich such an exciting place creatively, and to support stronger connections that allow that culture to grow and thrive.”
The Greenwich Creative Network is open to anyone working creatively in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, including artists, freelancers, creative small-to-medium enterprises, grassroots organisations and cultural institutions.
