A teenager was stabbed in Oval Place on Monday night (July 5).
The male victim, aged just sixteen, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services were called at 11.45pm to reports of a stabbing.
Although he has not been formally identified, police have informed the teenager’s next of kin and specialist officers are now supporting his family.
At this stage there have been no arrests.
