A public meeting in Camberwell next week will be a chance to hear from representatives of the main political parties in Southwark about their vision for transport in the borough for the next four years.
Local people will be able to get their transport-related questions answered by local politicians from the Labour, Liberal Democrat and Green parties ahead of the local elections on Thursday, May 7.
The hustings have been organised by local transport groups: Southwark Cyclists, Southwark Living Streets, Fare Free London, Mums for Lungs and Solve the School Run.
All things transport-related will be up for discussion – including walking, wheeling, cycling and all forms of public transport.
The event will take place at the Vic Watson Conference Centre, 54 Camberwell Road, SE5 0EW at 7pm on Thursday, April 9.
Confirmed speakers are:
Cllr John Batteson – The Labour Party
Cllr Rachel Bentley – The Liberal Democrat Party
Cllr James McAsh – The Green Party
Other parties have also been invited.
If you want to attend you’ll need to reserve your spot for free which can be done here.
